 | Over the last 20 years I have made hundreds of clothe mache' characters, most of them live in Libraries, Schools and peoples homes. I've also had my work in the Springville Art Museum and local Art Shows. They bring smiles to many! I began making small animals out of clay...then as they became larger I experimented with various materials...after years of creations I now start with an armature of Styrofoam and PVC pipe for large animals or empty plastic bottles and wire for smaller pieces. Then I always cover the armature with the flannel material and the glue mixture I am always learning and trying new things but the Clothe mache' seems to be my standby...I am happiest when I am creating! |
